UBS key4 prepaid card

• Yes, simply top up your card and you’re good to go
• You can also add your card to a mobile payment solution such as Apple Pay.
• Your physical card will arrive in the mail a few days after you open your account

• We use the Mastercard® exchange rate plus 0.5% for payments with UBS key4 prepaid and credit cards. There is no additional processing surcharge when using the card to make payments in Swiss francs abroad or in foreign online shops.
  
• You can easily calculate the exact rate using the Mastercard currency converter.

If you are already a UBS client

To benefit from the attractive exchange rates, simply swap your traditional prepaid card for a UBS key4 prepaid card. If you don’t want to replace your card, order an additional UBS key4 prepaid card in UBS Digital Banking via E-Banking or Mobile Banking app.

You must meet the following requirements to order a card via Digital Banking:

• You are domiciled in Switzerland
• You are the owner of both a Digital Banking contract and of the corresponding card account.

If you are not a UBS client and would like to open a UBS key4 banking online:

• Minimum age: 15
• Resident in Switzerland
• Passport or ID card* for one of the following countries
• For students: valid student ID
• For foreigners: residence permit B, C, Ci or L
• Smartphone with a camera and iOS version 13 or higher or Android version 10 or higher
• A stable internet connection

*All documents must be final. This means, for example, that we do not accept any outstanding applications for a foreigner's identity card.

• With a prepaid card you can only spend the money you add to the card.
• A UBS key4 prepaid card is included with your UBS key4 banking package. For a UBS key4 credit card as part of UBS key4 banking a surcharge applies in most cases (UBS key4 standard is for free up to and including 25 years, for students up to maximum 30 years).
