What requirements must be met in order to use mobile banking?

To use UBS Mobile Banking you need access to UBS e-banking in Switzerland. UBS Mobile Banking is not available in the following countries: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, USA (including associated territories).

The Mobile Banking app

The Mobile Banking app is available for smartphones featuring iOS or Android.

Technical requirements:

  • iPhone with iOS, version 8 or higher
  • Smartphone with Android OS, version 5.0 or higher

Web app

UBS Mobile Banking can also be used as a web app through your web browser.

Technical requirements:

  • Smartphone with Windows Phone, version 8 or higher
  • BlackBerry Bold 9900
  • Newer generation BlackBerrys with BlackBerry OS, version 10 or higher
  • iPhone with iOS, version 8 or higher
  • Smartphone with Android OS, version 4.4 or higher

If access to the web app is not supported by your preinstalled browser, please use Google Chrome, Safari, or Internet Explorer Mobile, version 10 or higher (does not apply to BlackBerrys).

The user instructions and functionality of the web app are the same as those of the app for iOS and Android. Device components such as the camera and NFC antenna cannot be controlled using the web browser, however. For this reason, the scanning of paying-in slips and login through NFC (wireless exchange of access data) are not available when using the web app.
