UBS Fixed-Term Deposit

Interest paid on deposits depends on the situation on the money market and the investment period. We will be happy to make you a concrete offer.

You can invest in a fixed-term deposit for three, four, five, six or twelve months. Your money is then invested as a fixed-term deposit for this period.

You will not be able to access your money during the selected investment period. However, UBS will allow an early withdrawal in exceptional cases. In this case and in accordance with regulatory requirements, a withdrawal fee of 2% of the invested amount will be charged, in addition to the loss of outstanding interest payments.

You can choose between the Swiss franc, euro, US dollar or British pound sterling.

The risk is the creditworthiness of UBS Switzerland AG. The creditworthiness ratings are published regularly. Fixed-term deposits are therefore particularly suitable for clients who appreciate the high level of security offered by UBS Switzerland AG as a debtor.

In Switzerland, deposits by private individuals are insured up to CHF 100,000. This also includes fixed-term deposits.

In the case of an extension, as with a new investment, you determine the term, deposit amount, start date and currency. The interest rate for the extension varies depending on the interest rate environment, the term and the investment amount. We will be happy to advise you.
