How can I block my UBS Credit card or Prepaid Card?
As a private client, you can block your Credit Card or Prepaid Card free of charge and at any time in E-Banking or Mobile Banking. Alternatively, you can call us to block your card.
Important: UBS will never send you an email asking you to block a card. Any such mail is most probably a phishing attempt.
- Log on to E-Banking.
- Navigate to “Cards > Settings & services > Block card”.
- Click “Block card now” and follow the instructions. The card will then be blocked immediately. You will automatically be sent a replacement card by mail.
- Log on to the Mobile Banking App.
- Navigate to “Cards”.
- Select the corresponding card in the “Credit & prepaid” tab. Tap Menu > “Block card” and follow the instructions. The card will then be blocked immediately. You will automatically be sent a replacement card by mail.

Defective credit card / prepaid card
If your credit/prepaid card is defective, you can order a replacement card free of charge in E-Banking or Mobile Banking.
- Log on to E-Banking.
- Select “Cards > Settings & services > Order replacement card”.
- Click “Continue without blocking a card ” and follow the instructions.
- You will automatically be sent a replacement card by mail.
- Log on to the Mobile Banking App.
- Navigate to “Cards”.
- Select the corresponding card in the “Credit & prepaid” tab. Tap Menu > Self-Service for cards > “Order replacement card” and follow the instructions.
- You will automatically be sent a replacement card by mail.
