Liquidity Cockpit Manage your business's liquidity

The Liquidity Cockpit is like the dashboard of a car. You need it to keep your business on the road - in other words, to steer its liquidity. It gives you an overview of past and current liquidity, and lets you look ahead and plan your future liquidity.

Exactly what you need:

Data always up to date: thanks to automatic data reconciliation between UBS e-banking, the Liquidity Cockpit, and bexio.

Overview with liquidity alerts

Everything under control: Keep track of expected income and expenditures, as well as the resulting liquidity. You can also choose to be alerted immediately in the case of liquidity shortages.

Flexible planning: by entering your own plan values in each category you can manage your liquidity in detail.

You'll find the Liquidity Cockpit in UBS e-banking under "Liquidity". It can only be used with bexio business software.

3. Make the most of the Liquidity Cockpit

Synchronize data using the refresh button
Synchronize the data in the Liquidity Cockpit with your data in bexio business software. This way, you can be sure you're using up-to-date data to plan your liquidity. Just click on the refresh button. The values in the Liquidity Cockpit will then match the underlying data in bexio: outstanding invoices from suppliers, or credit at other banks, for example.

Entering plan values
Enter your planned monthly income and expenses into the planning grid, then use "Overview" to monitor how this affects your liquidity. To enter data, use “Tab” and “Shift-Tab” on your keyboard to move quickly and easily from one field to the next. You can use the figures already recorded in bexio and e-banking as guidelines for your plan data. If necessary, you can set up three new categories each for income and expenses, in addition to those already given.

Entering wage payments and other fixed costs
The Liquidity Cockpit cannot include wage payments at present. Please enter plan values for these under "Staff / Wage payment". You can also enter other fixed costs (rent, for example) as monthly expenses. Please note that UBS standing orders and payments entered in UBS e-banking are not shown in the Liquidity Cockpit to avoid any risk of transactions being counted twice.

Define your own alert thresholds and credit limits
Configure personalized alert thresholds and credit limits in the settings so Liquidity Cockpit can warn you immediately in the event of liquidity shortages. These warnings can also be set up in e-banking as notifications via SMS and/or e-mail.

Use outside e-banking
Do you want to plan your liquidity outside UBS e-banking as well? If so, all you need do is export the planning grid into an Excel file (CSV).

4. Data usage and security

By using the “KMU Business Software” offer (as a basis for the UBS Liquidity Cockpit), you authorize UBS to transmit all relevant transaction and bank customer data to bexio, and thereby release UBS from the obligation to maintain bank secrecy regarding this data. UBS may process or save your data, or use it to improve the offer.

By using the “UBS Liquidity Cockpit” offer, you authorize bexio to transmit all relevant customer data (customer/vendor line items, etc.) to UBS. Data in the Liquidity Cockpit is used for the planning and overview of your liquidity, but until further notice will not be evaluated by UBS for business-related purposes (e.g. loan decisions).

All data is saved on UBS servers in Switzerland. It is less than three months old, and used and saved on a rolling basis. If you cancel an offer, any corresponding personal data stored by UBS will be permanently deleted.

All conditions associated with the use of “KMU Business Software” and “UBS Liquidity Cockpit” can be found in UBS e-banking, and will be sent to you for acceptance during the registration process of each offer.
