You qualify for the special offer if, as an existing UBS client or a new client, you are newly financing an energy-efficient property with UBS. A property is considered energy-efficient if the UBS CO2 calculator* determines it has an overall energy efficiency class A or B and the property does not have oil or gas heating, or it has one of the following energy certificates: Minergie®, GEAK® certification, classes A/B (for overall energy efficiency) or HPE/THPE issued within the last 10 years.

Yes. With the UBS Fixed-rate Mortgage Green, you can choose to fix the interest rate up to 12 month in advance.

At the end of the term, the general interest rate level may be higher than when you took out your Fixed-rate Mortgage. In this case, you would have to take out follow-up financing at a higher interest rate.

To minimize this interest rate risk, it is therefore advantageous to split larger amounts into several mortgage tranches from the outset, for instance by dividing the total between two Fixed-rate Mortgages with different terms.

The UBS Mortgage Green takes this into account: Total financing of above CHF 500,000 should be divided into several tranches with different terms, if possible.
