• Curated and exclusive direct investment opportunities: As a member of the Private Investor Circle, you get access up to to 12 direct equity investment opportunities in innovative, fast-growing Swiss domiciled  Start-ups annually
• Structured transaction process: Members are guided through the standardized investment process and receive access to all relevant information on the investment opportunities, as well as to the management/founding team of the companies
• Exclusive events: Members can also attend exclusive events with renowned institutions (e.g. ETH and EPFL) and promising start-ups

The experienced UBS Growth Advisory team screens the Swiss market for promising start-ups and selects the investment opportunities based on predefined criteria. These criteria include:

• Company stage: growth-stage (typically from series A financing rounds onwards)
• Current market traction (rapid sales growth), and minimum sales of at least CHF 1 million per year
• Scalability of business model
• Expertise and track record of management team
• Degree of innovation incl. existence of IP/patents
• International market potential
• Competitive environment 
• Swiss domicile, privately held
• Existence of lLead investor: Institutional lead investor leading the round (renowned VC-fund, Corporate VC or Strategic/Large Corporate)

Past investment opportunities presented to the Private Investor Circle members include companies such as running shoe and apparel brand On, which went public on the NYSE in 2021, producer of autonomous four-legged robots Anybotics, and agritech company ecorobotix, which specializes in Ultra-high Precision (UHP) spraying technologies for crop care.
