Open a banking package with an app

It’s easy to become a UBS client, even without an appointment at a branch. Simply download the app and follow the step-by-step guide through the account opening process. Then confirm your personal details during a video call.


1. Download the app

Download the UBS Welcome App from the App Store.

2. Select a banking package

Select your desired banking package in the app and enter your personal details.

You’ll find the relevant prices and conditions in the app.

3. Verification/conclusion

Please have your passport/ID to hand for the online verification process. You can sign the contract online directly in the app.

Clients under 18 years will receive the application by e-mail.

Requirements :

  • You are resident in Switzerland
  • You have a smartphone with a camera, and access to the App Store
  • You are not yet a UBS client
  • You are at least 15 years old
  • Stable 4G or WiFi connection

We are available at the following times for identification by video call:

  • Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 22:00
  • Saturday from 9:00 to 17:00
