Mike Ryan is Chief Investment Strategist (CIS) for Wealth Management Americas (WMA).
In his role, Mike manages an experienced team of investment professionals dedicated exclusively to developing investment and portfolio strategies for the firm's Private Wealth and Wealth Management clients. He also serves as the WMA representative on the UBS Global Investment Committee (GIC), which is responsible for formulating and delivering the UBS Wealth Management Investment House View.
Mike has spent his entire 32-year career at UBS and the firm's predecessor firm PaineWebber, mostly within investment strategy and research roles.
Mike is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) and a member of the CFA Institute, the Fixed Income Analyst Society Inc. and the New York Society of Security Analysts.
Mike appears regularly on CNBC, Fox Business News and Bloomberg Television. He is also frequently quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones News Services, Reuters, Financial Times and Bloomberg news services.
Mike holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School, and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Rochester.
