Filippo Ilardi is a Managing Director and the Head of Strategic Marketing and Client Segments, Client Strategy Office for Wealth Management USA.
In his role, Filippo is responsible for market strategy and analysis, client insights and UBS Investor Watch, client segmentation, communications, solutions marketing and client content, and advisor marketing and creative services. He sits on Wealth Management USA’s Management Committee.
Filippo began his career with UBS in 2008 as part of the Wealth Management USA (formerly Wealth Management Americas) Strategy team, joining from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). In 2010, he was named Head of Market Strategy & Analysis overseeing the business’s strategy, Financial Advisor and client research and analytics, investor insights, and client digital strategy. In 2014, Filippo became the head of Strategic Planning and Business Execution for Advice & Solutions (A&S) organization. He oversaw strategy for A&S, risk management and quality assurance, business management and led the changes to the business’s operating model in response to the new Department of Labor fiduciary rule.
Prior to his role at BCG, Filippo worked as a Trader at Cargill Financial Markets Division.
He received a MA in International Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University and a BA in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva. Filippo resides in New York City with his wife and their two children.
