Updates to your UBS Advice Premium [Private Markets]

We would like to inform you about some important updates to your UBS Advice Premium [Private Markets] advisory solution. These changes are designed to enhance your experience and ensure our services remain aligned with your needs. Below you’ll find a summary of the key updates.

Most important changes

  • Offering name update: The offering is renamed to UBS Advice [Private Markets] to better align with the naming architecture of UBS Advice solutions, providing you with better clarity and orientation of our offerings.
  • Portfolio monitoring: Going forward, UBS will review your Advisory Portfolio at least weekly regarding the quality aspects "negative view" and “instruments not monitored”. Quality issues on existing positions will be reflected in your Statement of Assets whereas quality issues for newly acquired instruments will be notified separately. To address these quality issues  you may request investment recommendations. Please note that monitoring is subject to the availability of product information and that UBS reserves the right to update its monitoring framework from time to time.
  • Private Markets report: UBS will provide you with a Private Markets report at least annually (or more often upon your request), detailing your current closed-ended Private Markets investments—including commitments, capital called, distributions, and NAV development—as well as key performance drivers. The report focuses mainly on closed-ended Private Markets investments. Information on open-ended investments will be available in your statement of assets.
  • Investment strategy: The risk tolerance for UBS Advice [Private Markets] remains “F – High”. We have, however, added a note, that in case your investments focus mainly on Private Debt, Private Infrastructure, or Real Estate, the expected risk and return of your Advisory Portfolio will presumably be below “F – High”.
  • Enhanced disclosure: The amended risk disclosure now specifically highlights that open-ended Private Markets investments have limited liquidity and marketability, may restrict when and how much you can subscribe or redeem, can impose redemption gates (limiting withdrawals on certain dates), and may charge penalties for early redemption — meaning you might not always be able to receive the full amount of NAV as per the redemption date redeemed.
