Open a banking package with an app

It’s easy to become a UBS client, even without an appointment at a branch. Simply download the app and follow the step-by-step guide through the account opening process. Then confirm your personal details during a video call.

Download the "UBS account opening" app.

Step 2

Select the best banking package for your needs in the app, and register for it.

Step 3

Make sure you have your passport or identity card ready for the video call.

Step 4

Sign the contract directly in the app. 1

Welcome to UBS. You’ll get the documents for your banking package as well as your credit cards and debit card by post.

1Clients under age 18 will get a contract form by e-mail.

Requirements :

  • You are resident in Switzerland
  • You have a smartphone with a camera, and access to the App Store
  • You are not yet a UBS client
  • You are at least 15 years old
  • Stable 4G or WiFi connection

We are available at the following times for identification by video call:

  • Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 22:00
  • Saturday from 9:00 to 17:00
