Important information on the SIX direct debit procedures LSV+ and BDD

UBS Direct Debit, which is format-compatible with the SIX direct debit procedures LSV+ and BDD, will remain available even though SIX BBS AG is discontinuing LSV+ and BDD on 30 September 2028. The following applies:

  • From 2026 onwards, new payees can only be registered for UBS Direct Debit.
  • There are no changes for direct debits from customers with a debit account at UBS.
  • For invoicing all other customers, we offer alternatives and are working on a simple transition, which will be available by 30 September 2028 at the latest.
  • UBS is not currently planning to implement eBill Direct Debit, as there are a number of direct debit use cases for which it does not offer a solution.

Receive money with UBS Direct Debit

Benefit from the following advantages when using direct debit with accounts receivable:
  • Fast payment process

The payment process is significantly accelerated and administration is reduced.

  • Improved liquidity planning

You receive payments on time, and the amount and timing are known in advance.

  • Also available for you in future

UBS Direct Debit will still be available to you after the discontinuation of LSV+ and BDD by SIX.

Requirements for the use of direct debit

To benefit from UBS Direct Debit, you need the following:
  • A UBS account
  • A direct debit authorization from all customers from whom you want to collect receivables in Swiss francs or euros via direct debit
  • Business software with UBS KeyPort and LSV interface (if your application does not have such an interface, you can work with an LSV+ entry program, in this case, data transmission is done with payCOMweb from SIX BBS AG)
  • Your customers need an account at a bank in Switzerland or Liechtenstein (collections via LSV+ from postal accounts are not possible). From 30 September 2028, only possible for customers with an account at UBS.
