Easily switch your mortgage to UBS

Depending on whether you have taken out a fixed-rate mortgage, a Libor/SARON mortgage or a variable mortgage with a bank, different rules apply when you switch. If you have a fixed-rate mortgage, it is usually only worth canceling it at the end of the term. Otherwise, a high penalty fee, known as an early redemption penalty, may have to be paid. It is also possible to switch individual tranches with different terms to a new provider. A shorter notice period of half a year often applies to variable mortgages. For Libor and SARON mortgages, the notice period varies according to the provider.
