The UBS Culture Foundation supports the composition and the première of new works by Swiss composers in the field of contemporary classical music.
The foundation supports festivals and new concert programmes by professional ensembles and orchestras that present at least one world or Swiss premiere of a work by a Swiss composer.
We do not support
- Non-Swiss ensembles or orchestras, as well as composers without Swiss nationality or residence in Switzerland
- Composers, festivals, orchestras or ensembles that have received funding from the UBS Culture Foundation within the past three years
- Musicians in training and projects in the context of education or further training
- Amateur orchestras and amateur choirs
- Productions in connection with competitions, congresses, symposia or benefit events
- The purchase of instruments or uniforms
- the production of sound recordings, or the edition of musical work
