With Veterans networks in the UK, India and US, when you join us, you won't be alone.

In the US, we offer two Veteran's programs. They are as follows:

  • Enlisted Veterans Apprenticeship Program (EVAP) - UBS Wealth Advice Center Veterans Program: This program is designed to provide enlisted Military Veterans the training, development and practical on-the-job experience necessary to build a successful career in Wealth Management. The candidates admitted are High School Equivalent Graduates, Part-time Bachelor Degree candidates and those who have attained Bachelor’s Degrees. The goal of the program is to provide experience within the UBS Wealth Advice Center and help advance candidates’ careers within UBS.
  • Veterans Associate Program (VAP): This program will prepare you for a post-military career at UBS. It gives you the chance to work side-by-side and learn from some of the most successful leaders and teams in the industry, acquire new skills, and make important contacts to help you get a head start. We want participants of the program to see what working for UBS is like so they can develop a broad and realistic view of UBS' business, culture and workplace.
    • This program offers a 20-week experience which includes the following: training and orientation; rotational assignments across our divisions; and opportunities to interview for permanent employment during the program.

In the UK, we run an Ex-Forces Associate Program, where we hire ex-forces candidates into permanent roles, following a rotational one-year program.

In India, our Veterans Associate Program hires ex-armed forces candidates into permanent open roles and for our 2020 Program, 12 new hires are anticipated to join us before July, taking our total cohort to 18 so far.

  • We  hire veterans onto the Program through Tier-1 institutes who complete six-month Business Management courses

We don't only hire Veterans through these Programs, but they're certainly a useful entry point to make sure we don't miss out on the talent the experience brings.
