Operating in the UK, the ‘Cultural Awareness Network’ serves UBS’s international employee population. Mosaic, the firm's network for multi-cultural employees in the US, is a catalyst for change where employees from diverse ethnicities, cultures and social groups are included as full partners in decisions that shape the organization. Programs include networking opportunities with senior executives, professional development, and career management.
The mission of these networks is three-fold: to raise awareness of the broad Diversity of cultures; to foster an environment that leverages the cultures of our employees; and to provide a forum to promote cross-cultural understanding among all employees. They also provide support for employees who are working in a new culture. Among other activities, these networks host lunchtime interactive seminars on working in cross-cultural teams, and offer regular sessions celebrating various cultures.
