Overview

The 29th Reserve Management Seminar (RMS) will be held again in person this year from Sunday, 18 June - Friday, 23 June 2023 at the UBS Conference Center Wolfsberg, Wolfsbergstrasse 15, 8272 Ermatingen, Switzerland

The RMS is recognized as one of the leading events for central banks and sovereign institutions.

Following a very challenging 2022 when sovereign institutions, including central banks and sovereign wealth funds, experienced negative returns, 2023 is likely to be an inflection year. Has inflation peaked? Will traditional diversification strategies work going forward or do we have to prepare for a new investment paradigm? How can reserve managers take advantage of higher expected returns in fixed income? And how are geopolitics and deglobalisation impacting reserve management?

These are just a few of the topics that a distinguished list of academics and officials – including Axel Weber, former Chairman UBS Group, Jacob Frenkel, ex-Governor of the Bank of Israel, Paul Donovan, UBS WM Global Chief Economist, Arturo Bris IMD Professor of Finance, and Massimiliano Castelli, UBS Head of Strategy for Sovereign Institutions – will discuss during the event.

We look forward to seeing you again in person this year!
