Zurich/Basel, 1 November 2013 – UBS has been named Best Global Private Bank and Best Private Bank in Asia in the 2013 Global Private Banking Awards. In addition to this, the bank won the award for Best Brand in Private Banking and Best Performing Private Bank and was highly commended in the category Best Bank in Europe.
The Global Private Banking Awards are conferred annually by the magazines The Banker and Professional Wealth Management, both of which are publications of the Financial Times Group. Winners are selected by a panel of industry professionals who not only consider key performance indicators such as assets under management, net new money and cost-income ratio, but also take into account portfolio management, asset allocation and product strategy and innovation to meet investors' changing needs and risk appetite.
After the accolades by the Euromoney Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey and the Private Banker International, these most recent awards are a another testament of UBS Wealth Management's strong performance as well as a recognition of its distinct investment and advisory process.
