Conditions for canceling bookings made with a UBS Credit Card
If you voluntarily choose to forgo an event/flight/trip due to coronavirus, please contact your tour operator or booking portal directly (airline, hotel, car rental, etc.) to request a refund.

Our ATMs and Multimats remain in operation. Cash withdrawals can still be made in open branches.

Tip: Pay easily with TWINT or contactless by card.
In order to more easily implement authorities’ hygiene recommendations, we recommend using your card without a PIN to make contactless payments when making purchases.
Accordingly, due to the current situation surrounding the coronavirus, the current limit of CHF 40 will be increased to CHF 80 from mid-April onwards.
This increase applies throughout Switzerland and to all cards, i.e., debit, credit and prepaid cards.
If you need to make an urgent payment but do not have access to digital banking and are not a TWINT user, you can still process payments with UBS Easy und UBS Global.
Your banking transactions – online
We will provide you with our usual comprehensive digital service: you can pay your bills as usual, check your account and your portfolio, and have full access to all card transactions.
Make cashless payments
To avoid unnecessary contact, you can simply tap your UBS Card on the card terminal at the checkout. For purchases of up to 40 francs, no additional confirmation by PIN is required. This will also allow you to keep your distance from the keypad.
Use your smartphone as a wallet
In the current situation, making contactless payments is not only best for your health, but will also keep cashiers happy. Simply take out your mobile phone and pay at the checkout with TWINT or Mobile Pay (for Android).
