Private screening of "Devotion"
UBS Veterans Network with support from the Multicultural Investors Segment was pleased to host a private screening of the film Devotion, aboard The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York. Attendees got the pleasure of meeting the movie’s director J.D. Dillard and his father, Bruce Dillard, a former Blue Angel and special consultant on the movie.
Devotion, starring Glen Powell, Jonathan Majors, Christina Jackson, Tomas Sadoski and Joe Jonas, is based on the bestselling book of the same name. The film tells the inspirational true story of two elite US Navy fighter pilots who helped turn the tide in the most brutal battle in the Korean War: Jesse Brown, the first Black aviator in US Navy history and his fellow fighter pilot and friend, Tom Hudner. Their heroic sacrifices, enduring friendship and confrontations with both geopolitical uncertainty and racial hostility would ultimately make them the Navy’s most celebrated wingmen.
