1991 – Began Formula One career as junior aerodynamic designer for Benetton Formula after graduating from University of Cambridge
Early 1990s-2000s – Progressed through specialist engineering roles to senior technical leadership positions
2000s – Contributed to championship-winning cars at Ferrari (F2004) and Renault (R26)
2017 – Appointed first ever Technical Director of Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team
2021 – Appointed Chief Technical Officer at Mercedes-AMG and of the Athena Racing British sailing team for the 36th America’s Cup
