Yes, you can. In your smartphone settings you can specify whether you want to set an app as your default app or select the payment solution individually for each purchase.

No, Samsung Pay only works with UBS Credit and Prepaid Cards.

In this case please contact our Customer Service (+41 44 828 39 61), which is available around the clock. No credit card data is stored on the smartphone. This means you do not need to block your UBS Credit and Prepaid Cards and can continue to pay with them.

If you also use the UBS Mobile Banking App, you must have this blocked.

The duties of care set out in the Special Terms and Conditions for the Use of Your UBS Credit or Prepaid Card for Mobile Payment Solutions, the General Terms and Conditions for the use of UBS Credit Cards or UBS Prepaid Cards and the basic provisions for UBS Digital Banking otherwise apply.

If your UBS Credit or Prepaid Card is lost or stolen, you must have it blocked immediately in UBS E-Banking, the Mobile Banking App or via Customer Service (+41 44 828 39 61). Customer Service is available around the clock.
If you suspect criminal activity, you must report it immediately to the local police in Switzerland or abroad. The duties of care set out in the General Terms and Conditions for the use of UBS Credit Cards or UBS Prepaid Cards otherwise apply.

UBS will issue a replacement card for each blocked card. The data on the new cards will automatically be linked to the Samsung Pay app.

If you do not want the card to be linked automatically, please inform our Customer Service.

You can delete the link between your cards and Samsung Pay in the Samsung Pay app or UBS Mobile Banking App (provided Mobile Pay is activated). The physical cards remain fully functional.

The last ten transactions can be viewed in the Samsung Pay app. You can obtain an overview of all the purchases made on your card statement or in UBS Digital Banking.

In the Samsung Pay app, tap the card you want to delete. Press “Delete card” and confirm the operation.

The UBS Credit or Prepaid Card will only be deleted in the Samsung Pay app and remains functional in other payment solutions.

If your existing card has been replaced due to expiry or damage, we will automatically link the new card to the Samsung Pay app. You can therefore continue to use Samsung Pay without any restrictions.

If you change the card product, you must register the card again in the Samsung Pay app. The previous card will automatically be deleted from the Samsung Pay app.

Yes, you can change the default payment method at any time in your smartphone settings.
