UBS Group AG announced on 31 May 2024 that it has completed the merger of UBS AG and Credit Suisse AG (“CSAG”) by way of a merger by absorption under Swiss law, whereby UBS AG is the surviving entity and CSAG ceased to exist (the “Merger”). Following the Merger, UBS has continued to make progress in the integration and in some cases, the operational wind-down of some of the legacy Credit Suisse entities.
As part of this process, we are reviewing unclaimed client assets in CSHK and CSSHK and have written to our clients who still have unclaimed assets in our client accounts based on their respective last known contact details (should the same be available).
For clients who have monies/assets in or with CSHK or CSSHK, whether in their own names or in the name of a nominee, please provide us with written instructions regarding the withdrawal or transfer of their assets as soon as possible, in any event no later than 12th May 2025.
