Our community investment focuses on developing skills through support for education and entrepreneurship. We believe that this is a highly effective way by which we, as a firm, can tackle disadvantage. We achieve impact through a combination of strategic funding and employee volunteering.
UBS employees are key to the success of our community program. We encourage staff to support our local communities by offering up to two volunteer days a year and matching employee donations to charities.

UBS Social Innovators
In 2016, we launched UBS Social Innovators, a signature UBS and Society program to help build further alignment with our business. A search to identify and support high-potential social enterprises that are delivering innovative solutions to society’s most pressing challenges culminated in the selection of 12 regional finalists and three UBS Social Innovators from over 1,200 expression of interests from 96 countries. The program will increasingly build on existing regional Community Affairs programs to support social enterprise skills, such as our partnerships with seif, Social Entrepreneurship Impact & Finance, in Switzerland and the Foundation for Young Australians' Young Social Pioneers program in Australia.
Regions and Case studies
We have a longstanding global Community Affairs strategy, executed through regional programs focused on making an impact in two key themes: education and entrepreneurship.
