Steve Chiavarone serves as the deputy chief investment officer helping to oversee all of Federated Hermes’ equity and asset allocation products globally. Steve is also a senior portfolio manager and head of the Multi-Asset group, which manages balanced income, tactical balanced, alternatives, multi-asset solutions and enhanced index strategies. In addition, Steve is responsible for the formulation of Federated Hermes’ views on the economy, financial markets and the firm’s investment positioning strategies as a member of both the Macro Economic Policy and PRISM Asset Allocation committees.
Steve joined Federated Hermes in 2007 and has more than 20 years of investment experience. Before joining Federated, Steve worked at U.S. Trust/Bank of America in the asset and wealth management division.
