Meet the collaborators

Guiseppe is Head of Agency Quantitive Research for Global Markets.
Giuseppe Nuti is Head of Agency Quantitative Research, where he leads the design and building of adaptive algorithms that apply reinforcement learning to navigate complex market environments.
The Agency Quantitative Research team is focused on exploring new approaches to improving the execution quality for UBS's clients. To statistically reduce trading costs for our clients, we have explored and implemented a wide range of techniques, from cutting-edge AI to more traditional relative value models. Of particular interest, we often leverage reinforcement learning, in it's various incarnations, to develop self-updating algorithms that can continuously learn and adapt to new market conditions.
Giuseppe holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University College London, where his research centered on Markov Decision Processes in finance. He also earned an MSc in Financial Mathematics from City University, London. His research interests include algorithmic trading and Bayesian approaches to traditional machine learning techniques.

AMIANGELIKA and 1100 are an award-winning London based new media and experience artist duo. Comprised of Angelika, a creative coder and visual artists, and Erik, a music producer, their practice revolves around exploring the interconnection between image and sound as well as human interaction.
They create fully generative, real-time rendered happenings that react to live inputs through audio or motion tracking sensors to create an immersive audio-visual environments.
