We believe retail is undergoing a metamorphosis and consumers are taking to online shopping due to COVID-19 contagion. We believe the move online is from people avoiding shopping in crowded stores, but in the economic aftermath the discounters will still remain important. Longer term however, the retail evolution and buying behaviour in highly populated cities and tier-3/4 cities could develop differently.
