You have two Dental coverage options: the Cigna Dental PPO and the Cigna Dental Care (DHMO) Access Plus.
In general, both plans cover the same array of services including regular exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, X-rays and more.
For most people, costs are generally lower in the DHMO because you pay only an office visit fee and then a copay for care. There’s no annual deductible to meet or annual or lifetime dollar maximums in the plan, and monthly employee contributions are lower for the DHMO.
The Vision Plan, administered by VSP Vision Care, can help you save money for vision care expenses such as eye examinations, eyeglasses and contact lenses. You have access to a nationwide network of vision care professionals and some benefits when you go out-of-network to receive care.
The Vision Plan includes:
- 100% coverage for in-network annual eye exams and prescription eyeglass lenses, and coverage for frames and contact lenses.
- Pre- and post-operative services and laser correction (at a discounted rate).
- There is no ID card for the Vision Program. If you choose to use a non-VSP provider, you will need to pay upfront and submit a claim to be reimbursed.
- $80 frame allowance to be used towards vision care at Sam’s Club, Walmart and Costco.
- You can choose to use your frame allowance toward ready-made, non-Rx sunglasses or non-Rx light filtering glasses (blue light glasses).
- An increased retail frame allowance of $160.

This is a voluntary program designed to supplement other health insurance. Hospital Indemnity coverage will provide benefits if you are confined to a hospital (whether for planned or unplanned reasons), and it helps reduce the costly effects of the hospital stay.
Employees pay the full cost of coverage on an after-tax basis. To be eligible, you must be enrolled in medical coverage (whether through a UBS-sponsored medical plan or elsewhere).
