More support for the people who depend on you
Cariloop is a comprehensive benefit that brings professional coaching, caregiving tools and provider resources together in one easy-to-use platform. Cariloop will replace the current Bright Horizons program for back-up care and related support. It will also replace RethinkCare, bringing developmental, special needs, and caregiving support together in one comprehensive resource.
Employees can use Cariloop for anyone they care for, even if that person is not covered under a UBS medical plan. You can also invite family members or trusted friends to your Care Team in the platform so they can access shared resources and help coordinate care.
- Back-up care solutions when your regular care arrangements are unavailable. Eligible U.S. employees can use up to 20 days of backup child and adult/elder care each year through Cariloop. Use the benefit when regular care is disrupted or unavailable due to illness, closures, schedule changes, medical needs, or other short-term care needs. UBS covers up to $250 per day. You pay $20 per day for center-based care, care in a provider’s home, tutoring, or camps, and $50 per day for in-home agency care. Care must be sourced through Cariloop to be covered. If the cost of care exceeds $250 per day, you are responsible for paying the difference.
- One-on-one support from a dedicated Care Coach who can help assess your needs, develop a personalized care plan, support IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning and discussion, research and vet providers, navigate complex care decisions and coordinate next steps.
- Support across caregiving needs and life stages, including child care and parenting, elder and adult care, special needs and disability support, education and college coaching, backup care, pet care support, care planning and coordination, caregiver well-being, and healthcare, financial, legal, housing and end-of-life needs.
- Digital tools and resources through the Cariloop Caregiver Support Platform®, including notes, a medication tracker, community channels, articles and guides written by Cariloop Coaches.
You can access the Cariloop platform beginning December 1, 2026, to engage with resources and book care in advance for January 2027.
Go to www.cariloop.com/register. To activate your account, enter your first and last name, work email address and a password, then click 'Get started'. Confirm your work email using the 6-digit code Cariloop sends you. (You can add a personal email or phone later).

As part of UBS’s data minimization requirements, beginning in 2027, you must affirm your interest in Cariloop before UBS can share the limited information needed to verify eligibility and administer those services. Complete the requested affirmation during Annual Enrollment to ensure uninterrupted access. If needed, you can also complete the affirmation later through Alight Worklife via goto/usbenefits.
