New York, September 10, 2021 - As part of the 2021 Euromoney Awards for Excellence, Euromoney Magazine has named UBS the world’s best wealth manager for the seventh time in a decade in this year’s Euromoney Awards for Excellence.

Tom Naratil, UBS Co-President of Global Wealth Management (GWM) and President Americas, said “This award is a testament to the dedication of our teams, our culture of innovation, and our focus on ensuring our services are personalized, relevant, on time and seamless.”

Iqbal Khan, Co-President of GWM, also provided insights and said, “We have continued to differentiate UBS by improving our client offerings, making technology a differentiator, and doubling down on our client promise.”

Described as the “awards that matter to the banks and bankers who matter,” the Euromoney Awards for Excellence were established in 1992 and were the first of their kind in the global banking industry. Euromoney honors firms with a proven track record in best-in-class services for wealth management clients, combining excellence in advice, products, technology, and innovation as well as demonstrating growth in client assets and revenues and strong financial performance. And, as stated by Euromoney Magazine, this year “none outperformed quite like UBS.”

This latest recognition builds on our regional wins earlier this year when we were named by Euromoney as the best bank for wealth management in Asia, North America, the Middle East and Western Europe and the best bank overall in Switzerland.

“UBS is the ultimate evolutionary force, a wealth management giant that spent the year rolling out a host of new services ranging from wealth advisory to philanthropy,” said Euromoney in their award citation. “The bank thrives because it constantly evolves, finding new ways to serve institutions and individuals across the wealth spectrum.” “Other financial institutions [were] considered for this award,” concluded Euromoney. “But in the end, there was only one winner. UBS has set the bar high. It's up to the competition to respond.”
