The capital increase carried out in November for the investment group UBS AST Commercial Real Estate Switzerland (UBS AST-KIS) was once again very successful with subscriptions of CHF 295 million. Against the backdrop of a very promising acquisition pipeline, the planned issue volume of CHF 50.1 million could be fully met. This corresponds to an allotment ratio of 17% – a strong sign and evidence of the confidence of our institutional investors.
This pleasing result is certainly also due to the positive performance of UBS AST-KIS. In the 2014/2015 financial year ending September 30, 2015, the investment group again showed a solid return on investment of 5.0%.
In the meantime, the real estate portfolio has reached a new milestone, exceeding the CHF 500 million level. The portfolio is broadly diversified across different regions and sectors, with tenants from a wide variety of business segments, and is thus well positioned for further selective expansion.
