China A-Share Conference 2019
Tuesday, 3 – Wednesday, 4 September
Ritz-Carlton Futian, Shenzhen, China
Four decades of market reform have transformed China into not only the world's second largest economy, but also one of its most competitive. The journey now continues with China A-Shares increasingly becoming a must-have in any international investment strategy.
In 2017, A-Shares surprised investors with impressive earnings growth and 2018 was dominated by policymakers raising the regulatory and compliance bar. To date, 2019 has proven to be the year of pragmatism, with the US-China trade stand-off exerting opposing forces over a slowing economy.
Please join us at our China A-Share Conference in September, where we will host 80+ companies across the spectrum of consumer, health, education, financial, property, technology, automation and industrials.

HK/China Small & Mid-caps Corporate Day 2019
Wednesday, 10 April
UBS Hong Kong Offices
Why small mid-caps?
Post a challenging year of 2018 with MSCI China index down -20%, sentiment has improved coming into 2019, with expectations of policy and liquidity easing in China, boosting up the index by 12% YTD. Will this spread out to small mid-caps, given MSCI China small mid-caps now is only trading at 8.4x forward PE? We think it's the time to revisit small mid-caps in April, post their annual results. Come and join us!
How to find small mid-caps ideas in 2019?
We expect investors to be more selective, with a focus on fundamental earnings quality and valuation margin of safety. We believe there could be chances in certain cyclical names with earnings turnaround potential. In some relatively undervalued (vs A Share) names in "popular" sectors, and maybe in the relatively "new" names which were listed in recent years but with more attractive valuations now.

LVMC and Thailand Conference 2018
Monday, 26 - Tuesday, 27 November 2018
Grand Hyatt Erawan, Bangkok
In recognition of rapid growth in Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia (LVMC), we will be inviting companies from these countries, along with international companies investing in the Greater Mekong Region to present at our annual conference.
The economies in LVMC are amongst the fastest growing in Asia. This is generating opportunities and challenges domestically and for the region as a whole. For example, more than one quarter of all listed Thai companies are already invested in one or more of the LVMC countries. Themes we will explore this year include: changing FDI flows and share of global trade; infrastructure; intra-regional connectivity; geo-politics and the role of China in ASEAN; innovation; and the impact of an emerging middle class on consumer behavior.
Our 6th annual LVMC conference represents a great opportunity to explore change first hand.
