What role does Human Resources (HR) play within UBS?
It's HR's job to help our businesses hire, engage, enable and retain great people, to foster a positive work environment, and to ensure we've got a collaborative, high-performing and respectful culture. The HR function works closely with each business area to understand their strategic priorities and then helps ensure they have great people who can and want to deliver on these ambitions. We look at the skills required and how they can be developed, ensuring our people are thriving in environments that really get the most out of their abilities, now and in the workforce of the future. Key to this is understanding that everyone's different skills, experiences and backgrounds are different and knowing those differences have real value to us and to our clients.
