Where’s the catch?

Whilst private credit and other forms of non-bank lending have existed for a number of decades, it is only since the 2008 GFC that private credit has established itself as a mainstay part of the private markets universe. Today, the asset class stands at over USD 1tn in AuM with thousands of funds deploying an array of strategies to service an ever growing market.
