Head of Hg Wealth & Fusion, Co-head of Capital Solutions, Allocation Board Member

Martina has led the Hg Wealth team since its inception in 2022, overseeing Hg's private wealth client base and the management of Hg Fusion. Having been involved in all Hg fundraisings since 2010, she has witnessed the firm's growth from approximately USD 3bn to ~USD 110bn AUM today.

Since joining Hg in 2009, Martina has held senior positions across Client Services, Fundraising, and Group Operations and Strategy. From 2019 to March 2022, she served as Deputy COO, building out Hg's core operational functions including Finance and Compliance. Reporting directly to the Hg Board, she was responsible for budget delivery and executing the firm's strategy during a period of significant scaling, including the launch of new fund structures and international expansion.

Prior to Hg, Martina worked at Citigroup as part of the Nordic M&A team. She is a Trustee of The Hg Foundation, which she established in 2019 and has since become one of Europe's largest ed-tech charitable organisations. Martina also chairs Hg's Culture Committee.

As Hg’s Head of Research, David provides broad market context to Hg’s deep cluster knowledge, researching how market trends and data shape new investment opportunities, enhance portfolio company performance, and inform realisation strategies.

David serves on the Hg Valuation Committee and participates in Investment Committee meetings, providing key input on pricing, valuations, and the market environment. He also sits on the Board of Visma, one of Hg's largest investments to date.

David joined Hg in 2018, bringing over two decades of technology sector expertise from public markets. Previously, he served as Director of Technology Research at Numis, where he covered a broad range of UK-listed software and IT services companies. Under his leadership, his team achieved top rankings in industry surveys for over a decade, establishing David as a trusted authority on the software and services sector amongst both industry peers and Hg's clients.

Non-Traditional Assets

Non-traditional asset classes are alternative investments that include hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and managed futures (collectively, alternative investments).
