Working in... Human Resources

Competitive strength in the financial services industry depends, more than anything else, on the expertise, talent and commitment of a firm's employees.

At UBS, Human Resources (HR) activities are aligned with business strategy to drive our growth. We are responsible for recruiting the exceptional people and developing the individual talent needed to drive the continued success of the business. By working closely with the business, we help foster UBS's collaborative, performance-oriented and respectful culture.

HR is a strategic, centralized function which is closely aligned to the business and focused on business priorities. Our professional roles offer talented individuals exciting opportunities for career development.

As an HR Business Partner, you will provide focused advisory and support services for a particular business division or area. As a trusted partner of management, your input will shape and inform important decisions helping senior managers to enhance their team's strengths and achieve their goals. HR BPs may also deal with specific operational tasks such as data gathering and analysis and individual personnel issues.

HR Specialists provide expertise in a particular competency area of HR knowledge and practice. You could be responsible for designing processes and measures around recruiting, compensation and benefits, talent development or performance management. You will provide support to HR colleagues and may also share your in-depth knowledge with people outside UBS.

We work in an environment of professional excellence where our goal is to create value through innovative thinking, progressive practices and state-of-the-art tools. We practice proactive partnership and value team spirit. Our people are drawn from all over the world, and we all share a strong sense of purpose.

In our dynamic and vibrant working atmosphere, everyone is encouraged to pursue their goals. Our culture rewards both what you accomplish individually and the contribution you make to our collective growth.
