Our history in France

1999

UBS (France) S.A., a wholly owned subsidiary of UBS AG, is opening its doors in Paris.

2003

UBS (France) S.A. is opening branches in Strasbourg and Lille in order to develop its wealth management activities for private clients in eastern and northern France.

UBS (France) S.A. is acquiring Lloyds Bank S.A., the French wealth management business of the British bank Lloyds TSB, and by doing so significantly increases the number of UBS clients in France.

2006

UBS (France) S.A. is acquiring Dolfi Finance SAS, a small wealth management firm based in Strasbourg, France, as well as certain assets from Mr Dolfi.

2008

UBS (France) S.A. is acquiring 100% of the Caisse Centrale de Réescompte Group (CCR) from Commerzbank – an asset and wealth manager in France with EUR 17 billion of invested assets and with approximately 190 employees (as of June 2007).

2017

UBS (France) S.A. is fully acquiring Banque Leonardo France. The transaction notably sees Ocea Gestion, the investment branch of Banque Leonardo France, working closely with UBS Asset Management.

Following the acquisition of Banque Leonardo France, the new entity is starting to operate under the brand La Maison de Gestion, with UBS (France) S.A. as majority shareholder, having EUR 4 billion of assets under management.
