The US energy sector is not straightforward. At the end of 2017, Massachusetts in the Northeast had more solar capacity than Florida, the Sunshine State. Meanwhile Texas, the heartland of shale oil and gas, is also the nation's largest wind power producer. In the US, clean energy and fossil fuels both play an important role creating investment opportunities across a wide spectrum of energy infrastructure.
