Singapore, November 17, 2025 – UBS House of Craft x Dior makes its highly anticipated Asian premiere this weekend, opening to the public from November 21 to 23 at the New Art Museum Singapore, part of Whitestone Gallery.
“UBS is delighted to launch the Asian premiere of UBS House of Craft x Dior in Singapore — a key financial hub for UBS in Asia.” said Young Jin Yee, Co-Head UBS Global Wealth Management Asia Pacific and Country Head UBS Singapore. “Singapore’s edition, featuring new experiences — a dedicated room paying homage to Christian Dior with sketches and designs referencing Singapore — and a refreshed perspective on Dior’s evolving creative vision, represents UBS’s commitment to celebrating the pursuit of excellence and the mastery of craft. Just as Dior’s ateliers honor traditional techniques while pushing creative boundaries, we at UBS believe in balancing heritage while embracing innovation to help our clients achieve their ambitions.”
Fresh from its acclaimed New York debut in June 2025, the expanded Singapore exhibition celebrates the craft of haute couture through a powerful tribute to Dior’s legacy. Curated by fashion visionary Carine Roitfeld and conceived by acclaimed artist and photographer Brigitte Niedermair, the showcase draws from rarely seen Dior Heritage archives. It reveals the Maison's enduring influence, rooted in Christian Dior’s vision and reinterpreted by the creative directors who have since shaped its legacy: Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons, and Maria Grazia Chiuri, with a special tribute to Kim Jones. Since June 2025, Jonathan Anderson has been the Creative Director of Dior’s Women’s, Men’s, and Haute Couture collections - like Christian Dior himself, a visionary creative who will continue to shape the House’s legacy.
Exclusively for the Singapore edition, a dedicated room at the heart of the exhibit pays remarkable homage to Christian Dior himself, spotlighting his artistry, sketches, and imagination that built the creative foundation of the legendary House. The expanded exhibition also features new visual and archival references that reveal a subtle yet meaningful dialogue between Dior and Asia. This includes moments where Dior’s creative directors have drawn inspiration from Asia, incorporating craft techniques, silhouettes, and specific details that have shaped individual pieces over time. Select sketches and photographs — including designs that reference Singapore by name — illustrate these cultural exchanges.
Visitors will also discover an extended series of photographs by Brigitte Niedermair, including five new works unveiled for the first time. These photographs are presented alongside archival haute couture masterpieces, with each chapter revealing the unique mark left by Dior's creative directors through vivid moodboards and rare gowns from Dior Heritage.
Dior’s story comes alive with live demonstrations by artisans from Dior Atelier, showcasing how timeless techniques continue to shape iconic silhouettes, with each thread a testament to the legacy of exceptional craftsmanship. This celebration of heritage is paired with a forward-looking program of talks, offering fresh insights into the continuing evolution of the craft of couture:
- UBS’s community activation event bringing together nearly 50 students from LASALLE and NAFA, offering them a rare opportunity to engage with Carine Roitfeld and Brigitte Niedermair who will share insights into how the fashion world operates, highlighting the diverse opportunities and inspiring the next generation of creatives in Singapore.
- A dialogue between Carine Roitfeld and Brigitte Niedermair who reflect on their collaboration for UBS House of Craft x Dior, discussing the choices, instincts, and philosophies that shaped their creative process.
- In a dedicated session, Brigitte Niedermair will delve into the aesthetic and cultural dimensions of fashion photography, showing how couture can serve as a medium for exploring identity and how images can elevate the craftsmanship behind each creation.
- Perrine Scherrer, Director of Dior Heritage, will offer an intimate, behind-the-scenes look into the archives of one of fashion’s most storied houses, illuminating the meticulous preservation, research, and storytelling that sustain its legacy.
- Finally, visitors will hear from the hands behind the house, Marie Leroux, Première main Atelier Flou, and Yassin Kavak, Première main Atelier Tailleur from Dior Atelier, as they reveal the techniques, traditions, and innovations that define Dior’s craftsmanship.
UBS House of Craft x Dior will open to the public from 21 to 23 November 2025, at the New Art Museum Singapore, the largest exhibition space in Southeast Asia, situated in a vibrant cultural area on the outskirts of Singapore’s Central Business District.
