Hong Kong, 30 April, 2024 – UBS AG is pleased to announce the week-long UBS Asian Investment Conference (AIC) will be held in the week of May 27, 2024 in Hong Kong, continuing the 27-year legacy of this exclusive financial gathering in the region.

Following its debut after the Asian Financial Crisis more than two decades ago, the AIC is widely regarded as Asia’s premier investment conference where attendees can gain exclusive access to influential and actionable advice, as well as new investment ideas from global thought leaders. This year’s AIC is no exception. The conference will bring together more than 2,000 global institutional investors and ultra and high-net-worth individuals, as well as top executives and entrepreneurs from 300 of the most dynamic private and public companies in Asia Pacific.

Globally connected, locally active

Commenting on this year’s AIC, Edmund Koh, President of Asia Pacific, UBS AG said: “At UBS, excellence comes from nurturing the best of our heritage, combining global expertise with local knowledge to deliver much needed expertise in helping our clients to turn their financial vision into a reality. The AIC is a unique platform that serves exactly that purpose – connecting local wisdom with global capabilities to deliver actionable ideas. The AIC has earned a reputation for providing cuttingedge insight into what is next for investors in the region, as well as an outstanding networking opportunity. UBS will leverage the AIC platform to craft a new future for this edgy platform.”

With bespoke content for global and regional institutional investors, private investors, corporates, family offices, asset owners and portfolio managers, entrepreneurs and more, the AIC will explore the trends that are changing the nature of business, to provide investors with insights into the most relevant topics of the day and what’s driving markets now and beyond.

Taking into account its historical perspective, this year’s AIC will throw light on key investment debates such as inflation, policy, growth and reform. And with a view to the future, this year’s AIC will examine opportunities in generative AI, new energy, as well as exploring how our cities can thrive, and illuminating the profound scientific breakthroughs in neuroscience.

“The past shapes the present and the future. At the heart of our conference we’ll ask how wisdom, curiosity, and lifelong learning can further create an even better future for all,” Mr Koh added.

The AIC will also feature exclusive tracks with bespoke content, aimed at creating meaningful connections and interactions with senior executives at the highest levels. There will also be Research tours available to explore ‘on-the-ground’ insight around the region.

Please stay tuned for more information about the AIC speakers and media activities. Please reach out to the UBS media team if you have any questions.
