TAIPEI, 24 Jan 2022 – UBS today announced the appointment of Ms. Shannon Wang as General Manager of UBS Asset Management Taiwan, subject to regulatory approval. Wang will be responsible for overseeing all UBS-AM activities conducted in Taiwan and play an important role in developing the business in the market.
Raymond Yin, Head of Asia Pacific and Chairman of UBS Asset Management Taiwan, said, "I am very pleased to have Shannon joining us. Given Shannon‘s experience in the industry, especially in developing new business, she is well-positioned to successfully support the continued growth of our Asset Management’s business in Taiwan.”
Wang has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Before joining UBS Asset Management, she worked at Legg Mason Investment Advisory as General Manager, responsible for the company's operations management. Prior to Legg Mason, Wang serviced at Schroeders. Wang is also experienced in wealth management and corporate finance. She holds a Master's degree in Linguistics from Indiana University.
