New York – Working MotherMagazineand SHOOK Researchrecently released their 2020 Top Wealth Advisor Moms list, which expanded this year to recognize 500 of the top working mothers in the financial services industry today.

In the article accompanying this year’s list, two UBS Advisors provided advice on how readers can secure their own financial futures in the wake of the pandemic:

“Many women are feeling pinched in this environment, paying bills and homeschooling their children during the pandemic. But this is a great time to be saving, planning for the future, and looking for stocks and bonds at a discount,” said Laura Wellon, Senior Vice President—Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services Inc. in Atlanta.

“Everyone should be revisiting their assumptions after the pandemic,” said Andrea Bevis, Senior Vice President—Wealth Management at UBS’s Private Wealth Management division in Boston. “Are you going to retire later than expected? Is the sale of your business now pushed out another three years rather than this year? Do you need to take care of your long-term care planning needs? These all need to be retested and re-planned during times of crisis.”
