NEW YORK, September 30, 2020 – For the second year in a row, UBS has been awarded “Best Private Bank, Americas,” at the 2020 Structured Retail Products (SRP) Americas Conference, an annual conference that attracts senior representatives to debate key topics in the Structured Products & Derivatives industry. Along with this honor, UBS has also been awarded “Best Distributor, USA” and “Best Yield Enhancement Distributor, Americas” for structured products.

Eric Glicksman, Head of Structured Solutions for Investment Banking Global Markets, Americas and Global Wealth Management Markets, Americas, once again accepted the awards on behalf of UBS. Glicksman said, “I am extremely pleased that UBS continues to differentiate itself from competitors by executing on key initiatives that focus on technology, infrastructure, product development, Financial Advisor needs and education, and leveraging the Firm’s world-class capabilities as part of Unified Capital Markets.”

Awards finalists included Bank of America, Desjardins Group, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Monex, Morgan Stanley, and UBS.

Methodology

  • All distributors with both more than ten striking products and more than ten maturing products during the March 1, 2019 to February 29, 2020 period present in the SRP database are in contention to win one of the distributor awards. The contenders with the top ratings win the awards. The finalist firms for the “Best Private Bank, Americas,” “Best Distributor, USA,” and “Best Yield Enhancement Distributor, Americas” awards for structured products were decided by the annual sales (50%) and sales-weighted average performance data (50%) as in SRP’s database for products maturing or expiring in the year ending February 29, 2020. The ratings for the Best Distributor awards are calculated by taking each contender’s results with the described weightings. Neither UBS nor its employees pay a fee in exchange for these ratings.
