London, November 1 – At last night's 2019 PWM/ The Banker Global Private Banking Awards dinner, UBS was recognized for our ability to meet the needs of our ultra high net worth clients and once again for leading sustainable investing offerings. We were awarded "Best Private Bank for Sustainable and Impact Investing," "Best Private Bank for UHNW Clients" and "Best Private Bank in Asia." We're also "highly commended" in the "Best Global Private Bank" and "Best Private Bank Education and Training of Private Banker" categories.
We have been continuously focused on the sustainable and impact investing space, with our strong thought leadership and product offerings – from our CIO monthly sustainable investing digest to our recent Investor Watch report, "Return on values." We've also been committed to entrepreneurial initiatives such as working with local associations and enhancing our advisors' skills.
"These awards show the great work our talent is doing to serve our clients across key segments and geographies," said Iqbal Khan, Co-President Global Wealth Management. "I'm particularly proud that we've been recognized for our efforts in sustainable investing, where we continue to innovate and to lead the industry."
"These accolades are a testament to the strength of our global business model and the ability of our people to sustain a relentless client focus in everything we do," said Tom Naratil, Co-President Global Wealth Management and President Americas. "All of us should feel gratified that our hard work is helping to grow and further differentiate UBS from our peers."

The returns on portfolios consisting primarily of sustainable investments may be lower or higher than portfolios where ESG factors, exclusions, or other sustainability issues are not considered, and the investment opportunities available to such portfolios may also differ.
