Krakow, 12 August 2019 – UBS plans to bring together most of its employees working at the company offices in Krakow in a new and modern office complex located in the city center. UBS will occupy 200,000 square feet across multiple floors in Fabryczna Office Park. The new building is easy to reach by public transportation and offers a first class working environment with the latest connectivity and attractive facilities. UBS's current offices at Eximius Park and Quattro V will be released as part of this move. UBS plans to move into Fabryczna Office Park in 2021.

Michal Stepien, UBS Country Head Poland said: "Our Krakow offices have played a vital role in supporting UBS's global businesses since 2008. Today, close to 3,600 people work at our Krakow premises in partnership with many parts of our global organization including Finance, Legal and Compliance, Technology, HR, Operations, Risk and Research. The move brings the majority of our employees under one roof and will help us to enhance collaboration across the firm, whilst offering greater capacity and flexibility for future growth in Poland."

As part of UBS's commitment to the environment, the new building is energy-efficient and has been built according to the international sustainability standards BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method), helping us to operate in line with the highest environmental standards.

This move underlines UBS's commitment to Poland as a key location with more than 5,000 full-time employees and contractors in our locations in Krakow and Wroclaw. "Our two-city strategy helps us to attract the best talent with the clear objective to remain an employer of choice," Michal Stepien adds.
