- New UBS iPad app with a simplified, intuitive, and engaging interface
- Personalized content driven by what and who matters most to clients
- Easy accounts aggregation; visualized financial goals; spending tools; enhanced funds transfer and bill pay
New York, NY, April 2, 2019 – UBS Wealth Management USA has launched a new digital experience for its clients, designed specifically to help them gain a more complete picture of their total wealth.
With the new UBS iPad app, clients can take care of everyday needs, such as viewing accounts and paying bills, while they manage their long-term financial life. Helping set a new industry standard, the app tracks and integrates the client's passions, goals, and people that matter to them, creating a tailored digital experience that matches content and insights specifically to the client's profile. By helping clients more easily share what matters to them, this new experience provides them a new digitally-enabled way to collaborate with their Financial Advisor to help plan and prepare for today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.
The app has already generated industry recognition and was awarded a "2019 BIG Innovation Award" by the Business Intelligence Group ("BIG") earlier this year.
"At UBS, we’re committed to building thoughtfully designed experiences that truly reflect our clients’ needs and behaviors,” said Kraleigh Woodford, Head of Digital Client Experience at UBS Wealth Management USA. “As clients increasingly turn to their mobile devices and expect firms to deliver more digital tools, we’re constantly innovating to bring new capabilities to them, so they could be more in control of their whole financial life.”
Through many rounds of client and financial advisor co-creation, the app includes several exciting new features such as helping clients visualize their life milestones on a timeline and making goals more personal by giving clients the opportunity to tie milestones to people. While the app goes beyond just the financial component of wealth, it also comes with new financial tools such as net-worth tracking and spending analysis tools.
"This is only the beginning. The new iPad app, our personal financial management tools and UBS Advice Advantage, our advisor-enabled digital advice solution—each are a critical part of our broader client digital strategy. Expect more client-centric innovations ahead," said Woodford.
