Hong Kong, 5 May 2017 – UBS once again hosted its flagship investment conference for family offices in Hong Kong on 4 May 2017.
More than 150 global investors, who manage in excess of CHF 200 billion in assets for the wealthiest families globally attended the Summit which is themed "Future Net Worth".
"The UBS Family Office Summit brings together top investors, including CEOs, CIOs and principals of family offices from around the globe, for an exclusive discussion on the global investment climate and areas of opportunity for savvy investors. Our global reach allows us to bring together like-minded investors to network, share ideas and explore mutually beneficial opportunities with their peers." said Josef Stadler, Head of Global Ultra High Net Worth, UBS Wealth Management.
"Hong Kong is a natural venue in which to host our flagship Global Family Office Summit in Asia. The continued rise of wealth creation in Greater China will favour Hong Kong as a domestic and regional wealth management center as the needs of investors become more like those of institutions spanning multiple asset classes," added Anurag Mahesh, Head of Global Family Office, APAC, UBS Wealth Management.
Reflecting feedback from delegates last year, the program for 2017 has been accelerated, has a sharpened focus on disruptive trends in the fastest-changing industries, and allows more time for delegates to network. In response to findings by the UBS and Campden Global Family Office Report 2016, that around 61% of family offices were either active or soon to be active in impact investing, a session focused on impact investing has been introduced.
