The UBS Clarion Global Infrastructure Securities Fund (the Fund), which was jointly launched in 2016 by UBS Asset Management and CBRE Clarion Securities (CBRE Clarion), has been given a "Recommended" rating by Zenith Investment Partners1 (Zenith). The fund offers investors a combination of stability, income and growth through easy access to the infrastructure market and enhanced diversification.

In giving this rating, Zenith noted the Fund's consistent and robust investment process and ability to leverage off the resources of the broader CBRE Group. Zenith also noted the global presence of the Fund's analysts, greatly enhancing the team's ability to conduct on-the-ground analysis providing greater market insight, a favourable characteristic of the Fund.

The Fund is managed by a team of nine and led by CBRE Clarion's Infrastructure Chief Investment Officer, Jeremy Anagnos. CBRE Clarion has a solid track record and is a long-time partner of UBS Asset Management. UBS extended its existing relationship with CBRE Clarion when it launched this global infrastructure fund.

Jeremy Anagnos commented: “Awareness of infrastructure as a benefit to mixed-asset portfolios continues to gather momentum in markets around the world. We are excited about the outlook for 2017 and believe listed infrastructure offers a compelling investment case with current income and rising earnings.” A combination of UBS' and CBRE Clarion's experience, robust investment processes and dedicated teams allow us to deliver the Fund's objectives and provide investors the opportunity to easily gain diversified, global exposure to infrastructure securities.

Head of UBS Asset Management Bryce Doherty added: "Zenith's ratings provide a rigorous endorsement of the quality and success of our approach. The Fund continues to offer investors exposure to globally listed infrastructure securities, aiming to generate an attractive mix of capital growth and income yield".
