Shanghai, 9 January 2017 – JiaJia, China's first interactive humanoid robot, attended UBS's Greater China Conference (GCC) in Shanghai today. JiaJia, who was created in Hefei in 2016, met UBS's President for Asia Pacific, Kathryn Shih. JiaJia and Shih spoke during the opening session of the conference, which was attended by more than 2,000 delegates.

According to UBS's Chief Investment Office, Artificial Intelligence will create 25 million to 50 million new jobs in the next decade.

The GCC is UBS's largest conference globally and one of the largest gatherings of China-focused managers, policy makers, analysts and investors.
